ALTON — Work is progressing on the food truck park planned at the corner of Ridge Street and Landmarks Boulevard in Alton.

On Friday, an employee of Camp Electric & Heating Company, Inc., was running electrical wire to a meter box for the site.

Named Flock, the site also has a sign on the east side of the building proclaiming the location as “The friendly food truck park where friends and families come together.”

No definite date has been set for the food truck park’s opening this spring.

Plans for the food truck park were announced in September by Alton Works as part of its efforts to support a regional food ecosystem in Alton. The city is providing up to $25,000 to aid the project.
