Noida: Residents of the Grand Omaxe society in Sector 93B complained about garbage dumping and illegal food trucks in their surroundings. The society has two grounds, which used to be clean and empty, but, have now been filled with garbage dumped by food truck owners, alleged residents. They also claimed that some of the food trucks stand on the main service road and the area becomes a spot for roadside drinking in the evening. Animesh Mishra, a resident, said, “There are two-three food trucks near Sector 93. We don’t have issues with food trucks if they keep the area clean. But, the owners throw garbage on the two grounds. We have been dealing with this issue for over a month.” Swati Agarwal, another resident, said, “We want this area to be a green space. We have tweeted about this a lot.” An official from Noida authority said the food trucks will be removed in a few days. TNN
