After being cancelled two years in a row due to COVID, the Milford Food Truck Fest will be back this summer. Along with the Open Air Market, the event will be hosted at the Connecticut Post Mall’s parking lot from May 28 – 30.

The event, open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., will include food trucks from around the state and around 50 craft and goods vendors, according to Jill Perez, owner of the organizing company Connecticut Specialty Events. 

The Milford Food Truck Fest and Open Air Market will be hosted in the parking lot of the Connecticut Post Mall from May 28 to May 30.

“This is an event where you can come out with your kids and have a good time,” said Perez. Some children activities will include bouncy houses, face painters and carnival games, said Perez. 

The food truck fest, previously hosted at the Eisenhower Park, will have free admission for the first time since it’s start eight years ago. Moving to the mall gave the organizers more flexibility to offer free admission and easier accessibility for families to attend the event, said Perez. Organizers expect around 12,000 visitors during the weekend-long event.
