As part of the 2022 FastCasual Top 100 Movers & Shakers list, FastCasual and Steritech, a provider of food safety assessments, will honor two runners up and one ultimate winner with their fourth annual Excellence in Food Safety Award. Panda Express took home last year’s top award, which recognizes fast casual brands that demonstrate a strong commitment to food safety through food safety programs and practices that lend to achieving excellence in food safety.

After reviewing nominations, judges may choose to conduct phone interviews with a short list of semi-finalists. Judges will then choose the brand that they think has placed continuous focus on protecting its customers from food safety issues and is working to achieve food safety excellence throughout its organization.
The FastCasual editorial board and Steritech will announce the winner during the Top 100 Movers & Shakers awards gala from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 22 at the London House. The gala coincides with the NRA’s annual event.
Entries will be accepted until midnight on Jan. 31, 2021.
